A Case of Enuresis due to Lithium Therapy

Abstract
|
|
|
Authors have experienced a case of enuresis due to lithium therapy. This case was female and diagnosis was manic depressive illness. At the time of enuresis, her serum level of lithium was noticed at 0.54mEq/L within generalized safe range.
The patient who was not received lithium carbonate, disappeared of enuresis. Re-medication of lithium carbonate after disappearance of enuresis, resulted in reappearance of enuresis on the same serum level.
The above findings were discussed in terms of possible correlation between lithium therapy and enuresis
